Description
A low-friction white edge protector that accepts four ropes, for rescue and rope teams working over sharp or rough edges.
The Ultra-Pro is a CMC exclusive edge protector made from super slick, high-performance material. It shields the rope from sharp or rough edges and greatly reduces friction.
It is lighter and easier to transport than edge rollers or similar devices, and its lower profile avoids the tipping often encountered with taller devices. This Ultra-Pro 4 size accepts four ropes.
Key features
- Low-friction material — Super slick, high-performance material protects the rope from sharp or rough edges and greatly reduces friction.
- Four-rope capacity — The Ultra-Pro 4 size accepts four ropes, while the smaller Ultra-Pro 2 is for two ropes.
- Conforms to the edge — It conforms to the edge and prevents sharp bends in the rope.
- Stable low profile — A lower profile avoids the tipping often encountered with taller devices, and it is lighter and easier to transport than edge rollers or similar devices.
- Corner carabiner holes — Carabiner holes in all four corners allow the protector to be tied off for safety or linked together for extended protection.
- Made in USA — Carries the Made in USA certification mark.
Typical applications
- Protecting working ropes where they pass over sharp or rough edges
- Multi-rope rigging at an edge where several ropes need protection together
