Entry-level first focal plane riflescope with mil turrets and a precision zero stop, for mid to long-range shooting.
The Talos BTR GEN2 4-14x44 puts first focal plane ranging and repeatable mil adjustment into the lowest price band Athlon builds for. The GEN2 revision adds a precision zero stop and reworked turrets to the original Talos BTR, while keeping the 30 mm one-piece aircraft-grade aluminium tube and the fully multi-coated glass.
The APRS10 reticle is the reason to choose this configuration over the MOA versions in the same line: a fine 0.1 mil floating centre dot for a precise aiming point, with illuminated bullet drop lines carrying windage holds out to 9 mils. As a first focal plane design the subtensions stay valid at any magnification, so the same holds apply at 4x and at 14x.
