Description
First focal plane 1-10x low power variable optic for close-quarters and mid-range work on a semi-automatic rifle.
The Ares ETR GEN2 UHD 1-10x24 covers the range where a red dot runs out of precision and a conventional riflescope is too slow. At 1x the illuminated ATMR3 reticle behaves as an aiming dot for both-eyes-open shooting; wound up to 10x it resolves enough detail for deliberate shots well past the distance an LPVO is normally credited with.
The optic is built on a 34 mm one-piece aircraft-grade aluminium tube with UHD extra-low dispersion glass, and an exposed elevation turret with a precision zero stop and a locking feature — pull out to dial, push in to lock — so a dialled correction cannot be knocked off in handling.
