A compact multi-planar rigging plate that aligns two rope devices side by side for twin tension rope systems and load-sharing anchors.
The SQUID rig plate brings two hardware devices together for dual operation, with a large primary attachment point for redundant anchoring and two perpendicular secondary points that keep the devices aligned. The spacing it sets between the devices lets a single operator keep simultaneous twin tension control using the dual-handle technique.
The attachment points accept a wide range of connection methods and position rope hardware so that it can be loaded and unloaded while connected. The plate orients itself towards the load and lets the components move freely, which reduces binding and shifting if an anchor or line fails. Made from aircraft grade aluminium with no moving parts, it is CE marked, classified to NFPA General Use for specific configurations including TTRS, and to NFPA Technical Use when the secondary points are pulled directly apart.
