Apraksts
A heavy-duty canvas edge pad that protects ropes from abrasion where they run over edges, for rescue and rope-access teams.
This large edge pad is made from rugged 24-oz #4 canvas. It protects ropes from abrasion and helps keep them clean, increasing their life.
The improved design replaces metal grommets with strong integrated corner web loops, so the pad can be anchored in place when needed.
Key features
- Rope abrasion protection — The canvas pad protects ropes from abrasion and helps keep them clean, increasing their life.
- Softer on soft edges — It reduces the amount a rope digs into a soft edge, such as the berm of a road.
- Corner web loops — Strong integrated corner web loops replace metal grommets and allow the pad to be anchored in place when needed.
- Offset web loops — A set of additional offset web loops allows overlap when joining two or more pads to extend coverage.
- Wraps around structures — The pad works well over most edges and also protects when wrapped around trees, rails and beams.
Typical applications
- Protecting rope where it runs over a hard or abrasive edge.
- Reducing rope bite into a soft edge such as a road berm.
- Wrapping around trees, rails and beams to protect rope at the anchor.
