Active communications headset with neckband suspension and left-mounted microphone, built for demanding tactical applications.
The Sordin Supreme T2 CC is an advanced communications headset for demanding tactical applications. Based on the SordinFLEX modular design platform, this version has a neckband suspension, black cups, a black textile headband and memory foam cushions.
Attenuation to EN 352 is SNR 28 dB, with H 29 dB / M 26 dB / L 21 dB, and the NRR is 23 dB. The SordinHEAR2 audio system offers four audio profiles, Tactical, Comfort, Dual and Ambient off, each selection confirmed by voice feedback, and the sound level limitation is max 82 dB(A).
It runs on 1 x AA 1.5V battery (Sordin Power 14500 rechargeable 3.7 V also supported) for an operating time of 120 hours with Varta Ultra lithium, and shuts down automatically after 4 h. It is waterproof, immersion tested at 2 metres and salt water tested, and has been tested against relevant parts of MIL-STD-810H and MIL-STD-461G.
A fixed downlead connects an external acoustic source such as a communication radio, hunting radio or mobile phone, and the boom microphone is mounted on the left.

- Noise-compensating microphone — The adjustable boom microphone is noise compensating, for clear voice perception even in noisy environments.
- Sound level limitation — Sound level limitation keeps output to a maximum of 82 dB(A).
- SordinFLEX modularity — The suspension can be reconfigured without tools; headband, neckband and helmet-mounted models with ARC Rails or Rear ARC Rails are available.
- Natural ambient sound — Ambient sound is amplified naturally with compression of dangerous sounds, and a short decay time restores normal sound instantly after a shot.
- MIL tested — Applicable tests have been made in accordance with MIL-STD-810H and EMC-MIL-STD-461G.
