Combination backpack and duffel bag that opens flat, built for travelling rope technicians who carry personal kit and technical equipment.
The Lotus Tech Pack carries either as a backpack or as a duffel, with a removable waist belt, and zips open from the top, bottom and side so buried items are easy to reach.
It comes in a black exterior with a grey interior, so stowed equipment stands out against the lighter lining.
Key features
- Lays completely flat — The pack zips completely flat for immediate access to organised gear.
- Pockets for organisation — Four exterior pockets sit on different sides of the bag, and seven interior pockets are split between one mesh stow pocket, five mesh zip pockets and one large zip pocket.
- Padded laptop pocket — A padded exterior pocket takes a laptop or other flat device, with added foam for secure travelling.
- Haul-point handles — Reinforced dorsal and duffel handles can be used as haul points, with working load limits of 60 lbs on the dorsal handle and 100 lbs on the duffel handles used together.
- Gear loops and compression — Sewn-in gear loops and compression straps in key areas add stability to stored equipment.
- Protected zippers — Heavy duty zippers have reflective pulls and sit in protective garages, and colour-coded pulls show the best position for side access.
- Strap and belt stowage — The shoulder straps, waist belt and duffel handle can be stowed away when the pack is carried the other way.
- Ground cloth included — A ground cloth in the bottom pocket protects equipment and gives a clean surface for laying out gear.
- Coated nylon fabrics — The exterior is 840D Nylon Double Ripstop with a Carbonate PU coating that resists water and abrasion, and the interior is Nylon 210T Taffeta Ripstop with a water-resistant coating.
- Travel-ready details — An ID label holder and a Velcro strip for patches carry personal or team information, and the pack is sized to fit inside overhead bins as an aircraft carry-on.
