Beschreibung
A red rope bag with a 7,450 ci (122 l) volume, made for rope access, technical rope rescue and rope storage teams.
This is the model #6 size of the CMC rope bag family, finished in red. It has contoured, backpack-style shoulder straps for carrying heavy loads, a side carry handle and a reach-in bottom pouch.
Capacity is measured by firmly hand packing new rope to the base of the closure collar, so a larger size is the better choice when more volume is needed for easier packing or extra equipment.
Key features
- Reach-in bottom — The bottom of the bag lets a knotted rope end be deployed from either side while it stays secure in transit, so the bag can be used from both ends.
- Shoulder straps and handles — Contoured, backpack-style shoulder straps with an integrated handle, plus a side carry handle, make heavy loads easier to carry.
- Grab handles inside top — Grab handles secured inside the top hold the bag open for quicker stuffing or carry it from the top, haul-bag style.
- Rip-stop nylon closure — The bag top uses a rugged rip-stop nylon for easy closure.
- Clear-view sleeve — A clear-view sleeve holds rope I.D. and log information.
- Gear loops and web loops — Exterior gear loops take carabiners, and sewn web loops at the base allow the rope end to be tied off internally or externally.
- Cordura nylon body — The bag is constructed from extra long-life 1,000-denier Cordura nylon.
Typical applications
- Industrial rope access work at height
- Technical rope rescue
- Loading and unloading rope from an apparatus
