Description
A waterproof headlamp with spot, flood and red light modes and a digital lockout, for professional users who need a durable, reliable head-worn light.
The Vizz 550 in Green / Dark Green is a waterproof headlamp with a high output of 550 lumens in spot high mode, running for 1.5h in that mode.
It offers white light and red light from a pattern of 2 red LEDs, 2 white flood LEDs and 1 white spot LED, and throws its beam to 85 metres. It is rated IPX7 and submersible up to one metre.
It runs on 3 AAA Alkaline or Lithium batteries.
Key features
- Three light modes — A powerful spot beam, a flood beam from a pair of white LEDs, and two red LEDs for close-up use while preserving night vision.
- Digital lockout — The digital lockout prevents accidental activation and so the risk of battery drain when the lamp is stowed in a pack.
- Long red runtime — Red high mode gives 10 lumens for 135h, with a further 15h of reserve.
- Flood for close work — Flood high mode gives 30 lumens for 90h, with a further 14h of reserve.
- Spot low mode — Spot low mode gives 150 lumens for 40h, with a further 64h of reserve.
Typical applications
- Search and rescue work in wet conditions
- Close-up tasks after dark where a low red light is wanted
- Outdoor use where the lamp is carried in a pack between tasks
