Description
A 1-6x24 variable riflescope with an LED-illuminated green reticle for close quarter battle and long distance marksmanship with .223 rifles.
This 1-6x24 variable powered riflescope accommodates close quarter battle (CQB) and long distance marksmanship. Its green segmented circle/crosshair reticle sits in the first focal plane, so subtensions and drops remain true at any magnification.
The bullet drop compensating reticle is calibrated for .223 / 55 grain and lets the shooter quickly estimate range and apply the correct hold. The LED reticle is powered by a single AA battery and offers 6 adjustable brightness settings.
The scope comes on a flattop thumbscrew mount (TA51) that fits rails designed for the Trijicon ACOG, with no conventional ring mounts needed.
Key features
- First focal plane — The first focal plane reticle lets the user acquire the target and apply the correct hold throughout the magnification range.
- Adjustable brightness — The LED reticle offers 6 brightness settings with an off position between each setting.
- Long battery life — A lithium AA battery, included, gives 1400 hours of continuous use at brightness setting 4 of 6.
- Forged aluminium housing — The forged 7075-T6 aircraft-aluminium-alloy housing is tested to MIL-STD-810G and waterproof to 20 metres (66 ft.).
- Integrated mount — The integrated thumbscrew mounting adapter provides quick and easy mounting to rails and removes the need for ring mounts.
- Dial fin, constant eye relief — An integrated dial fin allows easy rotation through the magnification range, and constant eye relief means no head or stock position adjustments are needed.
- Multi-coated glass — Multi-coated lenses provide clarity and light-gathering capabilities with zero distortion.
Typical applications
- Close quarter battle with fast target acquisition at low magnification.
- Long distance marksmanship with ranging and holdover on the bullet drop compensating reticle.
- Duty and service rifles that need a rugged variable optic in all weather conditions.
