Description
A rugged 1-8x28 variable riflescope with an LED-illuminated red MOA reticle, built for close quarter battle and long distance marksmanship by professional users.
This 1-8x riflescope with a 28mm objective is designed for close quarter battle (CQB) and long distance marksmanship. Its red segmented circle / crosshair reticle with MOA crosshair dot sits in the first focal plane, so subtensions and drops remain true at any magnification.
The reticle is LED-illuminated and powered by a single AA battery, with 11 settings: 2 night vision, 8 day and 1 super-bright. The housing is forged 7075-T6 aluminium, and the scope comes with a flattop thumbscrew mount (TA51).
Key features
- First focal plane reticle — The universal segmented circle / MOA crosshair dot reticle is designed for multi-platform use, accommodating multiple calibres, ammunition weights and barrel lengths, and holds stay correct throughout the magnification range.
- LED illumination — The illuminated reticle offers 11 brightness settings with an off position between each setting, and a battery life of 633 hours at setting 6.
- No rings needed — The integrated mounting adapter replaces conventional ring mounts and fits many rails designed for the Trijicon ACOG.
- Integrated dial fin — A dial fin allows easy rotation through the magnification range, and a near-constant eye relief means no head or stock position adjustments are needed.
- Rugged construction — The forged 7075-T6 aluminium housing is tested to MIL-STD-810G and is waterproof to 20 metres.
- Precise adjusters — Windage and elevation adjust at 1/4 MOA per click, with 20 MOA per revolution.
- Multi-coated glass — Multi-coated lenses provide clarity and light-gathering capability with zero distortion.
Typical applications
- Close quarter engagements where a wide field of view at the lowest magnification is needed.
- Long distance marksmanship using holds from the first focal plane reticle.
- Service and duty rifles that must work across different calibres, ammunition weights and barrel lengths.
- Low-light and night vision use with the dedicated night vision brightness settings.
