Description
A 1-6x24 variable riflescope with an illuminated red BDC reticle for .223 / 55 grain, for close quarter battle and long distance marksmanship.
The VCOG 1-6x24 is a rugged variable powered riflescope that covers both close quarter battle (CQB) and long distance marksmanship. It has 1-6x magnification and a 24mm objective.
The red Segmented Circle / Crosshair reticle is a bullet drop compensating reticle calibrated for .223 / 55 grain and sits in the first focal plane, so subtensions and drops remain true at any magnification. It is illuminated by an LED powered by a single AA battery.
The housing is forged aluminium with a matte black finish, and the scope is supplied with the Flattop Thumbscrew Mount (TA51).
Key features
- First focal plane — The first focal plane reticle lets the user acquire the target and apply the correct hold throughout the magnification range.
- Ranging BDC reticle — The bullet drop compensating and ranging reticle allows the shooter to quickly estimate range and apply the correct hold.
- Six brightness settings — The LED reticle offers 6 adjustable brightness settings with an off position between each setting.
- Long battery life — A single AA battery gives 700 hours of continuous use at brightness setting 4 of 6, and a lithium AA battery is included.
- Durable forged housing — The forged 7075-T6 aluminium alloy housing is tested to MIL-STD-810G and waterproof to 20 metres (66 ft.).
- No rings needed — The integrated mounting adapter removes the need for conventional ring mounts and is compatible with many rails designed to fit the Trijicon ACOG.
- Integrated dial fin — An integrated dial fin allows easy rotation through the magnification range, and the constant eye relief means no head or stock position adjustments are needed.
- Multi-coated lenses — Multi-coated lenses provide clarity and light-gathering capability with zero distortion.
Typical applications
- Close quarter battle with the scope at its lowest magnification.
- Long distance marksmanship using the calibrated holds of the BDC reticle.
- Duty and professional use in wet and demanding field conditions.
