Description
A 1-6x24 variable-magnification riflescope with a green illuminated MOA reticle, built for shooters who need one optic for close quarter battle and long-distance marksmanship.
The Trijicon VCOG 1-6x24 is a rugged variable combat optical gunsight covering close quarter battle and long-distance marksmanship with a 1-6x magnification range and a 24mm objective.
Its green segmented circle/crosshair MOA reticle sits in the first focal plane, so subtensions and drops remain true at any magnification; the LED illumination runs on a single AA battery and offers 6 user-selectable brightness settings.
The housing is forged 7075-T6 aluminium in matte black, and the scope arrives on a flattop thumbscrew mount (TA51), so no ring mounts are needed.
Key features
- First focal plane reticle — Subtensions and drops stay true throughout the magnification range, letting the shooter apply the correct hold quickly at any setting.
- Universal MOA reticle — The segmented circle/MOA reticle is designed for multi-platform use, accommodating multiple calibres, ammunition weights and barrel lengths.
- LED illumination — The green LED reticle has 6 brightness settings with an off position between each, and the battery lasts 1,400 hours at setting 4 in constant-on use.
- Integrated mounting adapter — The thumbscrew flattop adapter replaces conventional rings and fits many rails designed for the Trijicon ACOG.
- Dial fin and constant eye relief — An integrated dial fin makes rotating through the magnification range easy, and constant eye relief means no change of head or stock position.
- Rugged and waterproof — The multi-coated optics sit in a forged aluminium housing tested to MIL-STD-810G and waterproof to 20 metres.
- Precise adjusters — Windage and elevation adjust in 1/4 MOA clicks with 90 MOA of total travel on each axis.
Typical applications
- Close quarter battle where a true low-magnification setting is needed for fast target acquisition.
- Designated marksman and long-distance engagements using the reticle's holds at higher magnification.
- Duty and training rifles that need one rugged variable optic for both short and long distances.
