Description
A 1-6x24 variable riflescope with an illuminated green horseshoe dot/crosshair BDC reticle for .308 / 175 grain, for users who need both close quarter and long-distance capability.
This VCOG is a rugged variable powered riflescope with 1-6x magnification and a 24mm objective, built to accommodate close quarter battle (CQB) as well as long distance marksmanship.
Its first focal plane green horseshoe dot/crosshair reticle is bullet drop compensating for .308 / 175 grain, so subtensions and drops remain true at any magnification. The reticle is LED-illuminated and powered by a single AA battery with 6 brightness settings.
The scope comes with a flattop thumbscrew mount (TA51) that attaches directly to a rail, so no conventional rings are needed.
Key features
- First focal plane reticle — The first focal plane reticle lets the user acquire the target and apply the correct hold throughout the magnification range.
- BDC and ranging — The bullet drop compensating and ranging reticle allows the shooter to quickly estimate range and apply the correct hold for .308 / 175 grain.
- Adjustable LED brightness — The LED reticle offers 6 brightness settings with an off position between each setting.
- Single AA battery — A single AA battery powers the reticle, giving 1400 hours of continuous use at brightness setting 4 with the supplied lithium battery.
- Forged aluminium housing — The forged 7075-T6 aircraft-aluminium-alloy housing is tested to MIL-STD-810G and waterproof to 20 metres.
- Integrated dial fin — An integrated dial fin allows easy rotation through the magnification range, while constant eye relief means no head or stock position adjustments are needed.
- Multi-coated lenses — Multi-coated lenses provide clarity and light-gathering capability with zero distortion.
- Integrated mounting adapter — The integrated thumbscrew flattop adapter removes the need for conventional ring mounts and fits many rails designed for the Trijicon ACOG.
Typical applications
- Close quarter engagements at low magnification with an illuminated aiming point.
- Longer-range marksmanship with holdover from the ballistic reticle.
- Duty and professional use on rifles in demanding field conditions.
