Description
A duty red dot sight for pistols, built with a forward-mounted light sensor and top-loading battery for law enforcement and military use.
Built on the foundation of the Trijicon RMR Adjustable LED, the RMR HD keeps the same patented housing shape in 7075-T6 forged aluminium, along with the electronic system and lens quality of that model, while adding a top-loading battery, a larger window and a forward-mounted light sensor.
The forward-mounted light sensor reads the light at the target rather than at the user, and automatically adjusts the reticle brightness across nine brightness settings, three night-vision settings and a super-bright setting. The reticle switches between a 3.25 MOA centre dot alone or the same dot inside a 55 MOA ring.

- Top-loading battery — The battery loads from the top, so it can be changed without dismounting the optic from the pistol, using a common CR2032 cell rated for over three years of continuous use in brightness setting 5, dot only.
- Forward-mounted light sensor — A forward-mounted light sensor reads the lighting conditions at the target rather than at the shooter, adjusting the reticle brightness automatically in auto mode.
- Selectable reticle — The reticle switches between a 3.25 MOA centre dot and the same dot inside a 55 MOA ring, with nine brightness settings, three night-vision settings and a super-bright setting.
- Lock-out and lock-in modes — A button lock-out mode secures the auto-brightness setting for everyday carry, and a manual brightness lock-in mode secures a chosen brightness setting indefinitely.
- Pistol and holster fit — The sight mounts on popular red-dot-ready pistols and is designed to fit most existing optics-ready duty holsters.
- Rugged housing — The housing is machined from 7075-T6 forged aluminium and is waterproof to 65 ft. (20m), with a shape that diverts impact force away from the lens.
- Tool-less windage and elevation — Windage and elevation adjusters give tactile and audible clicks at 1 MOA per click across 135 MOA of total travel, with no tools needed for zeroing.
