Description
A 6.5 MOA adjustable-LED red dot sight for pistols, rifles, shotguns and carbines, with user-controlled illumination and a button lock-out mode.
The housing uses a patented shape that diverts the force of an impact away from the lens, and the electronics are upgraded to perform reliably when mounted on slide-ride pistols and other small arms. It suits military, law enforcement, concealed-carry self-defence, target shooting and hunting use.
Buttons on the sides of the sight let the user adjust illumination brightness and switch between manual and automatic modes, or power the sight down for storage. In manual mode the sight holds the chosen setting for 16.5 hours before reverting to automatic mode; the buttons can also be locked so the sight runs in automatic mode only, so that an accidental press does not disturb the aiming solution.
The 6.5 MOA dot is the largest available in the Adjustable LED and LED range, making it quick to locate for close-quarter engagements. This sight shares its footprint with the original RMR Type 1 and fits the RM36 ACOG mount; mounting on a Glock MOS, Springfield OSP, Walther PDP or H&K VP9 optics-ready pistol requires the AC32064 mounting kit.

The RMR® Type 2 has identical physical dimensions and mounting footprint to that of the original RMR Type 1. If selecting an RMR for mounting on the Glock® MOS, Springfield® OSP, Walther® PDP, or H&K® VP9 Optics Ready, a Trijicon RMR® mounting kit (AC32064) is required.
