A Picatinny rail mount adapter for Trijicon RMR footprint optics, giving a lower 1/3 cowitness with backup iron sights for rifle-platform shooters.
This is a Picatinny rail mount adapter for any Trijicon optic using the RMR footprint, fitted with Colt thumbscrews for mounting without tools. It sets the optic in a lower 1/3 cowitness with the rifle's iron sights, placing the red dot above the sights for a less cluttered sight picture while keeping the sights available in the lower third of the window for backup.
The mount is built from aluminium with a matte black anodised finish and a see-through design that keeps it lightweight and preserves field of view. It fits any MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail, with the optical axis set 1.516 in above the top of the mounting rail for an RMR footprint optic, or 1.757 in for an SRO footprint optic.
