The MGRS® M2 Heavy Machine Gun Mount is designed to provide a rapid optical mounting solution for the M2 Heavy Machine Gun (HMG), giving the Trijicon MGRS a stable platform during observation and firing.
A see-through tunnel beneath the Picatinny rail keeps the M2's original iron sight accessible as a backup, and the mount is designed to MIL-STD-810 G.
