Description
Tritium night sight set for Glock pistols with a thin front post, for law enforcement and professional shooters engaging targets at longer distances.
These HD XR night sights are a set for Glock standard frames, with a yellow front outline and a black rear outline, and green tritium lamps front and rear.
They fit Glock® models 17MOS, 19MOS, 34MOS, 45MOS, 17, 17L, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 37, 38, 39 and 45.
A thinner front sight post gives a larger field of view, helping the shooter identify targets and see the location of hits at longer distances.
Key features
- Thin front post — The thin front post, .122 in. wide, promotes a larger field of view for fast target identification and engagement at longer distances.
- Brighter front sight — A domed sapphire cap on the front sight focuses the tritium illumination for a 2X brighter aiming point.
- Front outline and notch — The photoluminescent-painted front outline combines with a subdued U-notch rear to draw the eye quickly to the front sight in all lighting conditions.
- Tritium lamps — Tritium phosphor-filled glass lamps illuminate the sights for high visibility in no-light and low-light situations.
- Recoil and solvent protection — The tritium gas lamps sit inside protective aluminium cylinders with additional silicone rubber cushioning, protecting them from heavy recoil and harsh cleaning solvents.
- Sapphire jewel caps — Each tritium lamp is capped with a sapphire jewel that helps distribute the light evenly and protects against puncture and cleaning solvents.
- Use with red dots — The MOS fit sights are not intended to be used while also running a red dot, as they are not tall enough to be viewed through the red dot window.
Typical applications
- Duty pistols carried by law enforcement personnel who need precise target engagement in any light.
- Low-light and no-light shooting where a visible sight picture is needed.
- Fitting by a gunsmith or armourer is recommended, as professional installation is advised.
