Description
Green tritium night sight set with an orange-outlined front sight and black-outlined rear sight, for Sig Sauer pistols that use #6 front and #8 rear sights.
This three dot green tritium night sight set has a taller front blade with an aiming point ringed in photoluminescent paint, and a rear sight outlined in black with a wider U-shaped notch.
It fits Sig Sauer® P220, P229, P240, P245, P938, Pro233, Pro2340, Pro245, and P365.
Professional installation is recommended, so fitting by a gunsmith or armourer is advised.
Key features
- Front sight acquisition — The glow-in-the-dark, photoluminescent-painted front outline combines with a subdued U notch rear to draw the eye quickly to the domed sapphire and tritium front sight.
- Brighter front sight — A domed sapphire cap on the front sight focuses the tritium illumination for a 2X brighter aiming point.
- Visible in low light — Tritium phosphor-filled glass lamps illuminate the sights for high visibility in all lighting conditions.
- Recoil and solvent protection — The tritium gas lamps sit inside protective aluminium cylinders with additional silicone rubber cushioning.
- Sapphire lamp caps — Each tritium lamp is capped with a sapphire jewel that helps distribute the light evenly and adds protection from puncture and cleaning solvents.
- One-handed slide operation — The steeply hooked front surface of the rear sight assists emergency one-handed slide manipulation.
Typical applications
- Duty and tactical use in bright, transitional and no-light conditions.
- Upgrading the factory sights on a pistol for low-light shooting.
