Description
A green tritium night sight set with an orange front outline and black rear outline for the H&K USP Compact, made for tactical shooters.
This night sight set fits the H&K® USP Compact and pairs a front sight with an orange outline and green tritium lamp with a rear sight outlined in black and fitted with a green tritium lamp.
The front sight has a taller blade and an aiming point ringed in photoluminescent paint, while the rear sight has a wider U-shaped notch, a combination that increases visibility and quickens front sight acquisition, even in transitional lighting.
Key features
- Fast front-sight acquisition — The photoluminescent-painted front outline and the subdued U-notch rear draw the eye quickly to the domed sapphire and tritium front sight in bright, transitional and no-light conditions.
- 2X brighter front sight — A domed sapphire cap on the front sight focuses the tritium illumination for a 2X brighter aiming point.
- Visible without batteries — Tritium phosphor-filled glass lamps illuminate the sights for high visibility in no-light and low-light situations.
- One-handed slide operation — The steeply hooked front surface of the rear sight assists emergency one-handed slide manipulation.
- Recoil and solvent protection — The tritium lamps sit in protective aluminium cylinders with additional silicone rubber cushioning, giving protection from heavy recoil and harsh cleaning solvents.
- Even light distribution — Each tritium lamp is capped with a sapphire jewel that helps distribute the light evenly and adds a layer of protection from puncture and cleaning solvents.
Typical applications
- Duty and tactical use of the H&K USP Compact in low-light and transitional lighting.
- Professional buyers upgrading H&K USP Compact pistols with tritium night sights.
- Installation by a gunsmith or armourer is recommended.
