Description
A combined red dot and suppressor-height night sight kit for Sig Sauer pistols, giving self-defence, law enforcement, military, competition and target shooters a fast, co-witnessed aiming solution.
The Dual Defense Kit combines the Trijicon RMR Type 2 Adjustable LED red dot with a suppressor/optic-height night sight set, engineered so the iron sights remain visible through the optic lens. Co-witnessed sights let the shooter acquire the 3.25 MOA red dot quickly and fall back on the iron sights if needed.
Professional installation is recommended, and additional mounts may be required when fitting to some Sig Sauer pistols.
Key features
- Co-witnessed night sights — The suppressor/optic-height sight set is engineered so the iron sights are visible through the optic lens, giving a co-witnessed sight picture for fast dot acquisition and a back-up aiming option.
- Adjustable LED illumination — Side-mounted buttons let the user adjust illumination brightness, switch between manual and automatic modes, and power the RMR down for storage.
- Impact-resistant housing — The patented housing shape diverts the force of an impact away from the lens, increasing durability.
- Tool-less windage and elevation — Windage and elevation adjust in 1 MOA clicks without special tools.
- Waterproof housing — The optic is designed to be waterproof to 20 metres (66 ft.).
- True-colour lens — The multi-coated lens gives wide-band light transmission for minimal change in target-area colour.
- Multi-platform use — The optic suits rifle, pistol, shotgun and carbine platforms, or use as a secondary sight alongside a magnified optic.
Typical applications
- Concealed carry and duty use by law enforcement officers who need a fast-acquisition red dot with a back-up iron sight.
- Military pistol use where co-witnessed iron sights provide a back-up aiming solution.
- Competition shooting where quick sight acquisition matters.
- Target shooting with Sig Sauer optics ready pistols or custom optics cut guns.
