Description
A fixed 3.5x35 ACOG riflescope with an LED-illuminated green crosshair BDC reticle for .223 / 5.56 rifles, aimed at professional and duty users.
This ACOG combines 3.5x magnification and a 35mm objective with a green crosshair reticle whose bullet drop compensation is calibrated for .223 / 5.56.
The reticle is LED illuminated with 6 brightness settings and runs on a single AA battery, and the scope uses the Bindon Aiming Concept for both-eyes-open shooting.
The housing is forged aluminium with a matte black finish, and the optic is supplied on a Flattop Thumbscrew Mount (TA51).
Key features
- Selectable brightness — Six adjustable brightness levels with an off position between each setting let the user set reticle illumination to suit the light, including transitional lighting.
- Long battery life — A single AA battery powers the illumination for over 12,000 hours on setting #4.
- Both eyes open — The Bindon Aiming Concept supports shooting with both eyes open for improved situational awareness.
- Night vision compatible — The scope is fully night vision device compatible and works with most other 3.5x35 ACOG accessories.
- Fixed-power housing — The fixed-power design keeps moving parts to a minimum, and the housing is forged from 7075-T6 aircraft aluminium.
- Shock resistant — It is proven to withstand recoil from a .22LR to a .50BMG and passes U.S. Military drop test requirements.
- Waterproof, fog-free — The waterproof housing is dry nitrogen-filled to eliminate fogging and is tested in extreme cold and heat.
- Multi-coated lenses — Multi-coated lenses maximise light gathering and give a clear field of view.
Typical applications
- Duty and patrol rifles chambered in .223 / 5.56 that need a rugged fixed-magnification optic.
- Use in changing and transitional light where adjustable reticle brightness helps.
- Night operations alongside night vision devices.
