Description
The Streamlight TLR-8 X sub is a compact, multi-fuel rail-mounted light with red laser for subcompact railed handguns, in the GLOCK 43X/48 MOS | 43X/48 Rail configuration.
The TLR-8 X sub combines a white light with a red laser in a compact, multi-fuel package for subcompact railed handguns. It includes high and low paddle switches to match the shooter's style, the rear paddle switches are interchangeable, and a "Safe-off" feature prevents accidental activation and saves batteries.
The light accepts one CR123A lithium battery (included) or one SL-B9 rechargeable battery pack, loaded from the front. It produces 500 lumens and 5,000 candela to 141 m, running 1.5 hrs on a CR123A or 1 hr on the SL-B9 pack; the laser runs 60 hours on a CR123A or 36 hours on the SL-B9. The SL-B9 pack charges within 2.5 hours via USB-C cord or bank charger and is rechargeable up to 500 cycles.
The body is 6000 Series machined aircraft aluminium with a black anodised finish, the switch housing is impact- and chemical-resistant engineered polymer, and the lens is high-temperature, shock-mounted, impact-resistant BOROFLOAT glass. The light is IPX4 water-resistant, 6.38 cm (2.51 in) long and weighs 78.5 g (2.77 oz) with a CR123A battery. This GLOCK 43X/48 MOS | 43X/48 Rail version is supplied with a mounting kit with key, a multi-tool and one CR123A lithium battery.
