The TLR-8 HL-X G sub is a multi-fuel, rail-mounted light with a green laser for subcompact railed handguns, and accepts either one SL-B9 rechargeable battery pack or one CR123A lithium battery. On the SL-B9 pack in its default setting it produces 1,000 lumens and 10,000 candela to 200 m for 30 min; the programmable SL-B9 setting gives 500 lumens and 5,000 candela to 141 m for 1 hr, and on a CR123A battery it produces 500 lumens and 5,000 candela to 141 m for 1.5 hrs. The laser mode runs for 10 hours.
This USB version is supplied with a mounting kit with key for the GLOCK 43X/48 MOS and 43X/48 Rail, a multi-tool, one SL-B9 battery pack and a USB-C cord. The body is 6000 Series machined aircraft aluminium with a black anodised finish, and the light is IPX4 water-resistant.

- Compact and light — Only 6.38 cm (2.51 in) long and 81.4 g (2.87 oz) with the rechargeable battery pack or 78.5 g (2.77 oz) with a CR123A battery.
