Description
The Streamlight TLR-7 X is a low-profile, multi-fuel rail-mounted weapon light for professional users who want a compact pistol light with interchangeable paddle switches.
The TLR-7 X mounts with a specialised clamp system and ships with both a low switch and a high switch, so the paddle can be matched to the shooter's hand position and the host pistol. A "Safe-off" feature prevents accidental activation and saves batteries.
The light is multi-fuel: it runs on one SL-B9 rechargeable battery pack or one CR123A lithium battery, loaded from the front. With the SL-B9 pack it delivers 725 lumens and 9,500 candela to 195 m for 1 hr; on a CR123A it delivers 550 lumens and 7,200 candela to 170 m for 1.5 hrs. This black version is supplied with one CR123A lithium battery and a key kit.
The body is 6000 Series machined aircraft aluminium with a black anodised finish, the switch housing is impact- and chemical-resistant engineered polymer, and the lens is high-temperature, shock-mounted, impact-resistant BOROFLOAT glass. The light is IPX7 waterproof to 1 m for 30 minutes, 6.55 cm (2.58 in) long and weighs 70.3 g (2.48 oz) with a CR123A battery.
