The TLR-1 HP-X delivers a high-candela beam for long-range illumination from a front-loading battery compartment that allows quick, tool-free battery changes without detaching the light from the firearm. Multi-fuel operation accepts two SL-B9 rechargeable battery packs (1,300 lumens, 77,000 candela, 555 m beam) or two CR123A lithium batteries (1,000 lumens, 53,000 candela, 460 m beam).
Standard and extended paddle switches are available to match different handling preferences, and a programmable strobe can be enabled or disabled as needed.
