Description
The Survivor Alkaline is a rugged handheld flashlight with a spring-loaded gear clip for turnout gear, suited to professional users working in demanding conditions.
It delivers 175 lumens on high (41,000 candela, throwing to 405 m) and 60 lumens on low (14,000 candela, 237 m), with runtimes of 3.5 hours on NiMH or 4 hours on alkaline power at high, and 13 hours on NiMH or 15 hours on alkaline at low. It runs on a rechargeable NiMH 4.8V, 2.6Ah, 4-cell battery pack good for up to 1,000 recharges, or on four AA alkaline batteries with an optional battery carrier.
The housing, base and battery carrier are moulded from high-impact, rugged nylon polymer, and the lens is unbreakable polycarbonate with a silicone anti-scratch coating. The light is IPX4-rated and water-resistant, and has been impact-resistance tested to 2 m. A rubber dome push-button switch allows easy operation with gloves, and a spring-loaded gear clip securely grabs onto turnout gear.
It measures 17.9 cm high, 7.24 cm wide and 5.89 cm in diameter, and weighs 510 g with the NiMH pack or 388 g with alkaline batteries.
