Description
The Streamlight Survivor is an alkaline-powered safety flashlight in black, fitted with a spring-loaded clip that attaches securely to turnout gear.
It offers two brightness settings: a high output of 175 lumens (41,000 candela, up to 405 m beam distance, 4 hours of run time on alkaline batteries) and a low output of 60 lumens (14,000 candela, up to 237 m beam distance, 15 hours of run time), operated through a rubber dome push-button switch that stays easy to use with gloves on.
Power comes from four AA alkaline batteries, fitted using a battery carrier. The housing, base and battery compartment are moulded from high-impact, rugged nylon polymer, and the lens is unbreakable polycarbonate with a silicone anti-scratch coating.
The Survivor is IPX4-rated for water-resistance and tested to withstand a 2 m impact drop. It measures 17.9 x 7.24 x 5.89 cm and weighs 388 g on alkaline batteries.
