Description
The Survivor is a safety-rated, right-angle flashlight built for professionals working in Class I, Division 1 hazardous locations, offered here in yellow.
This 240V AC/12V DC charger version of the Survivor is finished in high-visibility yellow. Housing, base and lens are built from high-impact, rugged nylon polymer with an unbreakable polycarbonate lens and silicone anti-scratch coating; the case is IPX4-rated and water-resistant, tested to 2 m impact resistance, with a one-way valve for case venting.
A low-profile bezel and specialized optic combine a wide beam with strong performance, while interchangeable Smoke-Cutter plugs let the user tighten the beam with the black plug or reduce glare and eye fatigue with the amber plug. A spring-loaded gear clip with reinforced D-ring secures the light to turnout gear, and its rubber dome push-button switch is easy to operate with gloves.
Key features
- Dual-mode output — High mode delivers 175 lumens and 41,000 candela out to 405 m, while low mode extends run time to 13 hours (NiMH) at 60 lumens.
- Signal and moonlight modes — A dedicated flash mode runs for 8 hours for signalling, and a moonlight mode provides low-level lighting for battery conservation for up to 20 days.
- Rechargeable NiMH battery — The light is powered by a 4.8V, 2.6Ahr NiMH battery that can be recharged up to 1,000 times, with no tools needed to swap batteries.
- Fast charging — A 2.5-hour fast charger or 12-hour smart charger keeps the battery topped up.
- Weather and impact resistance — The housing is IPX4-rated and water-resistant, tested to 2 m impact resistance, with a one-way valve for case venting.
- Hazardous-location safety ratings — The Survivor is safety-rated for Class I, Division 1, Groups C, D, E, F, G and Class III, T4, plus Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, D, T4, and carries MSHA approval No. 20-A150001-0.
