Description
The Streamlight Survivor is a rechargeable, right-angle handheld flashlight in yellow with a rugged nylon body and a glove-friendly switch, built for professional use.
On high, the Survivor delivers 175 lumens, 41,000 candela and a beam distance of 405 m, running for 3.5 hours; low mode gives 60 lumens, 14,000 candela and 237 m for 13 hours. A flash setting for signalling runs for 8 hours, and a moonlight mode for battery conservation runs for 20 days.
It is powered by a NiMH 4.8V, 2.6 Ahr, 4-cell sub-C rechargeable battery rated for up to 1,000 recharges, and is switched on and off via a rubber dome push-button that is easy to operate with gloves.
The housing, base and battery housing are made from high-impact, rugged nylon polymer, paired with an unbreakable polycarbonate lens with a silicone anti-scratch coating. The light is IPX4 rated, water-resistant and impact resistance tested to 2 m; it measures 7.24 cm wide, 17.9 cm high and 2.32 cm in diameter, and weighs 510 g.
