Description
A compact rechargeable high-candela flashlight for police, security and industrial users who need long-range light in a hand-held format.
The Strion HPL produces 615 lumens and 40,000 candela on high, reaching a beam distance of 400 m from a body just 17.78 cm long. A deep, wide beam pattern gives useful down-range clarity without giving up peripheral light.
Medium and low modes extend run time to 2.5 hours and 4.5 hours, and the lithium-ion battery fully recharges in 3.5 hours, so a light can be back on the shelf between shifts.
This version is supplied in the 240 V AC and 12 V DC configuration with one holder.
Key features
- Long-range beam — A wide beam pattern puts 40,000 candela down range for a 400 m beam distance on high.
- Four output modes — High, medium and low run at 615, 320 and 160 lumens, with a strobe that runs for 3 hrs.
- Lithium-ion power — The 2600mAh lithium-ion battery fully recharges in 3.5 hours and is rated for recharging up to 1000 times.
- Rugged construction — An anodised aluminium body and an unbreakable polycarbonate lens with scratch-resistant coating stand up to daily duty use.
- Water and impact resistance — The light is IPX4-rated and water-resistant, and has been tested to 2 m impact resistance.
- Compact and light — At 17.78 cm long and 202 g with battery it carries easily on a belt or in a vehicle.
- Long-life LED — The white high power LED is rated for a 50,000 hour lifetime, so there are no bulbs to replace.
Typical applications
- Night-time patrol and searching by police and security officers who need reach across open ground.
- Industrial inspection and maintenance in large halls, plant rooms and storage yards.
- Search and rescue work outdoors, where a small hand-held light has to throw a long way.
- Everyday duty carry for officers and technicians who want one light for close work and distance.
