Description
Compact rechargeable dual-switch torch delivering 375 lumens, built for police and security users who need one hand-held light for long shifts.
The Strion DS is a compact rechargeable torch fitted with both a head switch and a tail switch, so the beam can be worked from whichever grip the task calls for. That flexibility suits room clearing and any job where the free hand is already busy.
Three output levels run from 375 lumens and 12,000 candela on high down to 40 lumens with 24 hrs of run time on low, and the strobe setting runs for 5 hrs.
Key features
- Dual Switch operation — Head and tail switches both control the light, giving flexible hand positions when clearing a room or working one-handed.
- High-mode reach — High mode delivers 375 lumens and 12,000 candela for a 219m beam.
- Full-shift low mode — Low mode gives 40 lumens with 24 hrs of run time, covering a full day of use.
- Rechargeable lithium-ion — Power comes from a rechargeable lithium-ion battery.
- TEN-TAP programming — TEN-TAP Programming lets the user select between three different operating programs.
- Aluminium body and glass lens — An anodised aluminium body carries a gasket-sealed Borofloat high temperature glass lens.
- Water and impact resistant — The light is IPX4-rated and water-resistant, and is tested to 2-metre impact resistance.
- Pocket-sized format — It measures 16.26 cm and weighs 153 g with battery.
Typical applications
- Patrol and duty carry for police and security officers who need a pocket-sized light on the belt.
- Building and room searches where the light must be held alongside a radio or other equipment.
- Vehicle checks and roadside work during night duty.
- Inspection and maintenance tasks in industrial and utility settings.
