Power comes from a 3-cell, 3.6 volt, 2.6 Ah NiMH sub-C battery that can be recharged up to 1,000 times, which keeps the cost per hour of light low over a long service life.
The 6000 series machined aircraft aluminium body carries a non-slip rubberised comfort grip and an anti-roll rubber ring, and the unbreakable polycarbonate lens has a scratch-resistant coating.
