Description
The Stinger HPL is a rechargeable long-range torch for professional users, supplied with two holders and 230V AC/12V DC charging.
High mode delivers 800 lumens and 48,000 candela for a beam reach of 438 m, medium mode gives 400 lumens and 310 m, and low mode 200 lumens and 219 m. Run times are 1.5 hrs, 2.5 hrs and 5 hrs respectively, and the strobe runs for 3 hours.
The 3-cell, 3.6 volt, 2.6 Ah NiMH sub-C battery is rechargeable up to 1,000 times. A steady charger fully recharges it within 16 hours, a smart charger within 4.5 hours (5V/1A USB input) or 3 hours (12V DC input), and a smart PiggyBack charger within 7.5 hours (5V/1A USB input) or 4 hours (12V DC input).
The 6000 series machined aircraft aluminium body carries a non-slip rubberised grip with an anti-roll rubber ring, and the unbreakable polycarbonate lens has a scratch-resistant coating. The torch measures 23.44 cm in length, 2.97 cm across the body and weighs 385 g with battery.
