Description
A rechargeable 2,000 lumen duty torch for police, security and industrial users who need three selectable output levels from one full-size aluminium light.
The Stinger 2020 is a full-size rechargeable LED torch that gives 2,000 lumens and 25,000 candela on High, with a beam reaching 315m and a run time of 2 hrs.
Medium gives 850 lumens for 4 hrs and Low 100 lumens for 24 hrs, so the output can be matched to the task; strobe runs for 3.25 hrs.
Power comes from two SL-B26 protected Li-Ion USB rechargeable battery packs of 2,600mAh, charged in existing Stinger chargers, from a USB cord or in an optional SL-B26 bank charger.
Key features
- Three output levels — High gives 2,000 lumens, Medium 850 lumens and Low 100 lumens, chosen on the mode selector switch.
- Long run times — Low runs for 24 hrs and Medium for 4 hrs, so one charge of the battery packs covers a long shift.
- USB rechargeable packs — Two SL-B26 protected Li-Ion USB rechargeable battery packs of 2,600mAh, rechargeable up to 500 times, power the torch.
- Flexible charging — Charging works with existing Stinger chargers, a USB cord or an optional SL-B26 bank charger, and the smart charger fully recharges within 8 hours (5V/1A USB input) or 6 hours (12VDC input).
- Dual power switches — Dual power switches and an intuitive mode selector switch keep operation straightforward in the hand.
- Sealed and rugged — Rated IPX7 waterproof to 1m and 2-metre impact resistance tested.
- Aluminium body, glass lens — An anodised aluminium body with anti-roll design and textured grip carries a high temperature, shock mounted, corrosion-resistant and impact-resistant BOROFLOAT glass lens.
- 240V AC/12V DC set — Supplied in the 240V AC/12V DC configuration with one charger holder.
Typical applications
- Police and security personnel on night patrol who need a full-size handheld torch ready in the vehicle.
