Description
The Streamlight ProTac 2AA-X USB is a pocket-sized, multi-fuel tactical torch running on a USB-C rechargeable battery pack or two AA alkaline batteries.
About the size of a marker, the ProTac 2AA-X USB slips into a pocket and produces 550 lumens from a Streamlight proprietary protected lithium-ion USB-C rechargeable battery pack. Two AA alkaline batteries can be fitted as a back-up, so the torch stays in service when no charge is available. It is supplied in coyote.
On the lithium-ion pack it gives 550 lumens and 10,250 candela out to 203 m for 2.25 hrs, or 40 lumens and 54 m for 16 hrs on low, with a strobe that runs 4.5 hours. On two AA alkaline batteries it gives 270 lumens and 141 m for 2.5 hrs on high, 18 lumens and 40 m for 48 hrs on low, and a strobe of 5 hours.
The body is machined from 6000 series aircraft aluminium with an anodised finish, closed by a gasket-sealed glass lens and an anti-roll face cap. It is IPX7 waterproof to 1 m for 30 minutes and impact-tested to 2 m, measures 15.3 cm (6.0 in) long and weighs 99 g (3.5 oz) with battery.
