Description
The Streamlight PolyTac is a compact polymer handheld torch delivering up to 600 lumens, aimed at security, industrial and emergency users needing dependable everyday light.
The PolyTac puts three output levels and a strobe into a nylon polymer body whose grip texture stays secure in wet or gloved hands. TEN-TAP programming lets the user set the mode order: high/strobe/low as delivered, high only, or low/medium/high.
On high it produces 600 lumens and 11,500 candela, throwing a beam to 214 m for 2.75 hrs. Medium gives 260 lumens and 140 m for 5.5 hrs, low runs 34 hrs at 35 lumens and 52 m, and the strobe runs 5.5 hours. Two CR123A lithium batteries are supplied.
The housing is high-impact nylon polymer with an O-ring sealed glass lens, rated IPX7 waterproof to 1 metre for 30 minutes and impact tested to 3 metres. It measures 13.6 cm (5.34 in) long with a 2.54 cm (1.00 in) body diameter and weighs 119 g (4.2 oz) with batteries.
