The Streamlight PolyStinger LED HAZ-LO is a rechargeable handheld torch for technicians working in petrochemical and industrial environments with hazardous atmospheres, supplied here without a charger.
Three output modes cover a full shift: 260 lumens on high with 16,000 candela and a 253 m beam, 80 lumens on low reaching 151 m, and a 1.3 lumen moonlight setting.
The 4-cell, 4.8 volt, 2.6 Ahr NiMH sub-C battery is rechargeable up to 1,000 times and runs for 5 hrs on high, 16 hrs on low and 20 days in moonlight mode.
This version is supplied without a charger; with a steady charger the light fully recharges within 16 hours, while a smart charger takes 7.5 hours from a 5V/1A USB input or 4.5 hours from a 12V DC input.
