The PolyStinger LED HAZ-LO is a rechargeable handheld torch rated Class I, Div. 1 intrinsically safe, with Class I, II, Division 1, Groups C, D, F, G and Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, D; Class III, 138°C (T3C) ratings. Its super-tough nylon polymer construction is designed for petrochemical and industrial applications with hazardous atmospheres.
Three output levels cover both close work and distance: 260 lumens with a 253 m beam on high, 80 lumens for 16 hrs on low, and a 1.3-lumen Moonlight setting that runs for 20 days. Power comes from a 4-cell, 4.8 volt, 2.6 Ahr NiMH sub-C battery that is rechargeable up to 1,000 times.
This version is supplied without a charger; on a steady charger the battery fully recharges within 16 hours, and on a smart charger within 7.5 hours from a 5V/1A USB input or 4.5 hours from a 12V DC input.
