Description
The PolyStinger LED is a rechargeable nylon polymer torch for security, industrial and emergency services users who need a bright, long-running handheld light.
This is the black 230V AC/12V DC version supplied with two charge holders, so one holder can stay in a vehicle and the other at a fixed base. The light measures 20.5 cm (8.07 in) and weighs 326 g (11.5 oz) with battery.
Three intensity modes cover everything from close-up work to lighting a long corridor: high gives 485 lumens and 28,000 candela with a beam distance of 335 m, while low still gives 120 lumens for 10 hrs. A strobe setting is also available.
Power comes from a 3-cell, 3.6 volt, 2.6 Ah NiMH sub-C battery that can be recharged up to 1,000 times, and the steady charger brings it back to full within 16 hours.
