The PolyStinger DS LED is a rechargeable polymer duty torch for police, security and industrial users who want a long-range beam and two independent switches.
The PolyStinger DS LED combines a long-range beam with a nylon polymer body built for daily duty use. On high it produces 485 lumens, 28,000 candela and a beam reaching 335 m, and it runs for 3 hours on that setting.
Medium and low settings trade brightness for endurance at 240 and 120 lumens, with run times of 5.5 hrs and 10 hrs, and the strobe runs 7.5 hours. Power comes from a 3-cell, 3.6 volt, 2.6 Ah NiMH sub-C battery that is rechargeable up to 1,000 times.
The housing is super-tough, non-conductive nylon polymer with a non-slip rubberised comfort grip, the lens is unbreakable polycarbonate with a scratch-resistant coating, and the torch is IPX4 water-resistant and tested to 3 m impact resistance.
