Description
A dual-beam, intrinsically safe flashlight giving a spot and a flood beam for technicians working in hazardous areas.
The Dualie 3AA ATEX combines a spot beam and a flood beam in one intrinsically safe handheld light, letting the user switch between one beam, the other, or both together.
Dual head switches give one-handed control over beam selection, and the light runs on three AA alkaline batteries (it also accepts three AA lithium batteries).
Key features
- Dual beam output — Spot gives 140 lumens over 171m, flood gives 140 lumens over 8m, and combo output reaches 245 lumens.
- Long run times — Spot and flood each run for 18 hours, with 9 hours available when both beams are used together.
- One-handed switching — Dual head switches allow easy, one-handed selection between the two beams.
- Rugged build — The body is a durable, non-conductive, corrosion-proof polymer resin with a rocky stipple texture for grip, fitted with a snag-free clip.
- Impact-resistant lens — The unbreakable polycarbonate face cap and side lens carry a scratch-resistant coating.
- Sealed and drop-tested — It is IP67 dust-tight and waterproof to 1m for 30 minutes, and tested to withstand a 2m impact.
- Compact and light — It measures 17.78cm in length and weighs 193g with its batteries fitted.
- Batteries included — Ships with three AA alkaline batteries fitted.
Typical applications
- Working in hazardous, explosive atmospheres where an intrinsically safe light is required
- Inspecting confined spaces and equipment that need both a focused spot and a wide flood beam
- Hands-free tasks where the beam needs switching without setting tools down
- General industrial and maintenance work in wet or dusty environments
