Description
An active communication headset with a textile headband and green cups, built for demanding tactical use by police, security and military operators.
The Sordin Supreme T2 CC is an advanced communications headset for demanding tactical applications. This version has a textile headband in black, green cups, memory foam cushions and the microphone on the left.
In this configuration it gives an EN 352 SNR of 29 dB (H 32 dB / M 27 dB / L 20 dB) and an ANSI S3.19 NRR of 23 dB. The SordinHEAR2 audio system offers four audio profiles, Tactical, Comfort, Dual and Ambient off, and the sound level limitation is set at 82 dB(A).
It runs on one AA battery, with the Sordin Power 14500 rechargeable battery also supported, and gives 120 hours of operating time with a Varta Ultra lithium cell. The factory-mounted downlead is a single comm type with a 4 pin US Nato wiring, TP120 plug as standard, and the microphone is an adjustable, noise-compensating type.
The headset is waterproof and has been immersion tested, submerged at 2 metres for 35 minutes, and salt water tested. Applicable tests have been made in accordance with MIL-STD-810H and MIL-STD-461G.
