Description
An active electronic communication headset for demanding tactical use, with Rear ARC Rails for helmet mounting, for operators who need hearing protection together with radio communication.
The Sordin Supreme T2 CC is an advanced communications headset for demanding tactical applications. This version is configured in Tan with Rear Arc Rails, memory foam cushions and the microphone on the left.
It is rated SNR 30 dB under EN 352, with H 33 dB / M 28 dB / L 22 dB, and NRR 23 dB under ANSI S3.19. The attenuation was measured on an OPS-CORE FAST CARBON HIGH CUT HELMET, M/L, and the approved helmet combination is R-ARC with memory foam/gel cushions on the OPS-CORE fast carbon high cut helmet, M/L.
The SordinHEAR2 audio system offers four audio profiles: Tactical, Comfort, Dual and Ambient off. Sound level is limited to a maximum of 82 dB(A), and the headset runs on one AA battery for 120 hours (Varta Ultra lithium), with a Sordin Power 14500 rechargeable battery also supported.
The headset is waterproof, immersion tested at 2 metres for 35 min and salt water tested, and it has been tested against relevant parts of MIL-STD-810H and MIL-STD-461G. A factory-mounted downlead connects it to a PTT, radio or other communication device, and the fixed boom microphone is mounted on the left.

- Single-battery power — A single-battery solution with voice feedback for low battery warning and automatic shutdown after 4 h.
- Short decay time — Short decay time restores normal sound instantly after a shot.
- MIL-tested electronics — Applicable tests have been made in accordance with MIL-STD-810H and EMC-MIL-STD-461G, and the electronics have RFI protection.
