Active communications headset on ARC Rails for helmet mounting, with SordinHEAR2 audio profiles, for operators in demanding tactical applications.
Sordin Supreme T2 is an advanced communications headset for demanding tactical applications, built on the SordinFLEX modular design platform. This version is configured with ARC Rails suspension, memory foam cushions, green cups and the boom microphone mounted on the left.
In this configuration it is rated SNR 28 dB under EN 352, with H 29 dB / M 25 dB / L 21 dB, and NRR 21 dB under ANSI S3.19. The attenuation was measured on a TeamWendy Exfil LTP-Helmet Rail3.0, Size1 M/L, and the ARC with memory foam/gel cushions combination is listed as approved with the Team Wendy EXFIL LTP helmet rail 3.0, size 1 M/L.
SordinHEAR2 provides four audio profiles: Tactical, Comfort, Dual and Ambient off, and each selection is confirmed by voice feedback. Sound level limitation is set to a maximum of 82 dB(A). A single AA battery gives 120 hours of operating time with Varta Ultra lithium cells, and a Sordin Power 14500 rechargeable battery is also supported.
The headset is waterproof, immersion tested by submersion at 2 metres for 35 min, and salt water tested. It has been tested against relevant parts of MIL-STD-810H and MIL-STD-461G. The factory-mounted downlead is a single-comm TP120 type by default and connects to a PTT, radio or other communication device.

- Noise-compensating boom microphone — A fixed boom microphone with high audio sensitivity, mounted left, is noise compensating for clear voice perception in noisy environments.
- Dual protection — Dual protection is listed for use together with earplugs, with SNR:40 / NRR:35.
- SordinFLEX modularity — The SordinFLEX platform lets the suspension be reconfigured without tools, with headband, neckband and helmet-mounted ARC Rails or Rear ARC Rails models available.
