Description
Electronic hearing protector with SordinHEAR2 audio, designed for hunting and shooting and supplied here in the ARC Rail version in black.
The Sordin Supreme Pro-X is an electronic hearing protector designed specifically for hunting and shooting. This configuration has an ARC Rail suspension and is finished in black.
It uses digital audio technology to compress impulse noise to a secure level of 82 dB(A), while harmless surrounding sound is amplified and volume controlled from an external keypad on the right-hand cup. The SordinHEAR2 sound system provides four audio profiles.
Power comes from 2 x 1.5 V AAA/LR03 batteries, with an estimated operating time of around 400 hours. The electronics are IP67-tested, including the waterproof microphones and the battery compartment, and the protector is specified to EN 352-1:2020, EN 352-4:2020 and EN 352-6:2020.
Key features
- SordinHEAR2 audio profiles — SordinHEAR2 offers four selectable audio profiles to suit the situation.

- Slim cup design — The slim cups suit both right- and left-handed shooters and keep attenuation efficient when eyeglasses are worn.
- IP67-tested electronics — The microphones and the battery compartment are waterproof and IP67-tested.
- AUX input — A 3.5 mm AUX input connects a communication radio or an external digital device such as a mobile phone or hunting radio.
- Push-button keypad — Easy-to-use push buttons on the external keypad control the electronic functions.
- Power management — The headset switches off automatically after 4 hours if no button has been pressed, and warns when approximately 40 hours of battery time is left.
- Encapsulated electronics — The electronic circuits are encapsulated in multiple layers of lacquer and polymer for increased robustness.
- Hygiene kits available — Gel rings and inserts are available as accessories in PVC (foam) and GEL hygiene kits.
Typical applications
- Hunting, where harmless ambient sound is amplified to help detect faint sounds from game animals.
- Sport shooting and range use, with impulse noise limited automatically.
- Helmet-mounted use in the field where an ARC Rail suspension is required.
