Description
A compact helmet light on a flexible stalk that gives security and defence users white, red, blue, green and infrared output from a single hands-free unit.
The Sidewinder Stalk carries its LED head on a flexible stalk, so the beam can be aimed where it is needed, while multiple mounting options and a durable clip attach the light to a helmet or a MOLLE vest. White, IR, red, blue and green LEDs are all located in that one head, each with low, medium, high and strobe modes plus an additional IR/IFF beacon.
On a CR123A lithium cell the white LED gives 76 lumens with a 28 m beam and runs 5.6 hrs. The same light also accepts an AA lithium or AA alkaline cell, giving 57 lumens and a 23 m beam, which keeps a unit supplied from standard cells wherever it is deployed.
Colour output covers red at 9 lumens, blue at 8 lumens and green at 20 lumens, and the 940nm infrared LED delivers 5.0 lmW/sr (min) radiant intensity and runs 32 hours.
