Description
Helmet light for military and security users, with five LED colours on a flexible stalk, supplied as the ARC rail mount and assembly configuration in coyote.
The Sidewinder Stalk carries its LED head on a flexible stalk, so the beam can be aimed where it is needed while the body of the light stays clipped to the helmet or to a MOLLE vest. This version is supplied as the ARC rail mount and assembly, in coyote.
White output is 76 lumens with a 28 m beam and a 5.6 hrs run time on a CR123A lithium cell; red, blue and green LEDs and a 940 nm infrared LED cover low-signature movement, map work and identification.
A pull-to-turn rotary selector knob chooses the LED colour and a push-button power switch operates the light, while a separate three-position ambidextrous switch runs the IFF strobe.

- Flexible aiming stalk — The LED head sits on a flexible stalk and the durable clip attaches to a helmet or MOLLE vest, keeping both hands free.
- Five LED colours — White, red, blue, green and infrared LEDs are selected from the same head, from 76 lumens of white down to 8 lumens of blue for low-signature work.
- Long coloured run times — On a CR123A cell the red LED runs 19 hrs and the blue and green LEDs 13 hrs, so a single cell covers extended night work.
- Infrared and IFF — The 940 nm infrared LED delivers 5.0 lmW/sr (min) radiant intensity for 32 hours, and a separate IFF infrared LED provides an identification beacon for 21 hrs.
- Multi-fuel power — It runs on one CR123A lithium battery, or on an AA lithium or AA alkaline battery for extended operation in extreme temperature environments from -40°F to 150°F.
- Rotary mode selector — The pull-to-turn rotary selector knob is designed to prevent accidental mode changes while allowing selection of the LED colour.
- Polarity protection — Built-in battery polarity protection guards against damage to the light if a cell is fitted the wrong way round.
- Compact and light — The body is high-impact nylon, 14 cm high and 2.18 cm wide, weighing 81.65 g with an AA alkaline cell and hook and loop mount.
