The light output of RLS2000 and RLS1000 can be regulated in several steps from 8 to 150%. A special diffuser allows continuous adjustment between focused spotlight and floodlight. The concentrated light is used to search for injured people, the floodlight serves as low-glare work light. Additional flashing functions also allow use as an LED signal light in 5 colors:
- Red flashing light, e.g. as identification command
- Green flashing light, e.g. to mark the meeting point for crew with SCBA
- Yellow flashing light, e.g. to mark danger zones on the road
- Blue flashing light, e.g. to identify rescue organizations
- White flashing light, e.g. as a general signal light
